East Coast fever parasite/cell division
East Coast fever parasite (Theileria, an Apicomplexan) dividing in synchrony with host cell division. The parasite attaches itself to both ends of the host cell spindle, inducing the cell to divide. East Coast fever is a serious disease of cattle in East Africa.
