Arnica Montana (Arnica)
Plant with yellow daisy-like flowers on thin stems. Has elongated ovate leaves. Used internally in homeopathy to reduce bruising, and as a cream on sprains, lumbago and sciatica. Heals wounds and can be used in a soothing footbath. The leaves were once used as a tobacco substitute in central Europe, hence its popular name, Mountain Tobacco.
