Mast cell granules - scroll-type
Transmission electron micrograph showing mast cell granules. These are different stages of typical scroll-type granules in the cytoplasm of a mast cell in the scleral stroma of a patient undergoing a graft for necrotising scleritis. The granules are approximately 500nm in diameter.
