De wijsneus
Meynaert Noes Wys
Een man met een narrenkap op zijn hoofd en een bril op zijn gezwollen neus (Meynaert Noes Wys = Meynaert Wijsneus) zit voor een lezenaar waarop een boek ligt - geopend, maar met de kaft naar boven. Onder de voorstelling negen regels rijmende Nederlandse tekst, waarin verteld wordt dat Meynaert wijze boeken las, niet wijzer werd, maar wel steeds meer eigendunk kreeg.
