Still from an Unknown Motion Picture
The film from which this still is taken is unknown, yet from the clothes and the blurriness of the image it must have originated in the 1960s. Already as of the 1910s, when the motion picture industry was in its infancy, it was customary to also take photographs while shooting a film. They served for advertising purposes, were hung in cinema display cases, and published in magazines.
