Dongshan Villa
This scene was painted by the famous 18th-century professional painter Yuan Jiang, who was active in the Yangzhou region. A scholar commissioned him to depict his villa and life inside it. The owner sits on the terrace gazing at the moon and listening to the music that his concubines are playing for him.
