Gaelic medical manuscript
A medical compendium assembled by the Mull Beatons, consisting of thirteen sections of manuscript, now bound into 26 parts. Besides medical subject matter, the manuscript also includes material on related subjects such as astrology, astronomy, botany and the calendar, as well as some historical texts and verse. 16th–17th cent. Vellum (ff. 1–26, 71–148), paper (ff. 27–70). Quarto and under.
