Evidence of non-ferrous metallurgy from the end of the 12th century, discovered in Josefská St in Brno. A pit from the 12th/13th century excavated in the area of the pre-urban agglomeration of Brno produced a collection of small crucibles, mostly made from the rims of graphite clay storage vessels.
