Porcellanite Oblique Axehead
A neolithic porcellanite axehead, with the faces having an oblique butt, an asymmetrical blade edge and flattened sides. The butt and one of the faces are damaged. The axehead is ground and the blade, sides and faces are polished. The axe head is oval with flattened sides in cross-section. This axehead was found at Camas, Co. Limerick.
