Scarab with 'nefer' and spirals
Two “nfr” hieroglyphs on either side of a group of interlocking spirals. Both the composition and morphology of the scarab date this object to the late 12th-13th dynasty, though it was discovered in a grave from the 25th-26th dynasty. Excavation: Griffith 1913-1914
