Scarab
The base of this scarab shows several hieroglyphs: a vertical line, the Red Crown of Lower Egypt and the ostrich feather (“maat”) between two baskets (“nb”). The morphology of the scarab points to a date in the 25th-26th dynasty. Excavation: Griffith 1913-1914
