Holy Bishopric of Morphou:The church of the Holy Virgin in Moutoullas
The Church of the Holy Vigin is situated in a rocky hill on the nothern slope of the community of Moutoullas overlooking the village and the valley of Marathassa. It is a small-scale building with a timber-roofed structure and remains the oldest dated preserved example with such a roof in Cyprus. The roofing system consists of inclined rafters on both sides covered with laid hooked tiles.
