Germany (possibly Hamburg), pewter, ca. 1645, engraved HARMAN FLUGGE 1645
Cylindrical tankard tapering outwards as it rises, on stepped domed foot, with wide scrolling handle and flared thumbpiece, with domed stepped lid. The body of the tankard is engraved with two crossed swords in a laurel wreath, and the name HARMEN FLVGGE and the date 1645.
