Coffee cup, made in Staffordshire, England, about 1785-1800, hard-paste porcelain with a lead glaze painted in enamels
Coffee cup in hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels. Cylindrical, with slightly everted rim and footring. Painted scroll handle. Painted in green, purple, yellow and brown with an exotic bird perched on a branch, and insects, Gilt rim, handle, footring.
