Oval tureen and cover of tin-glazed earthenware painted in enamels, made by Aprey pottery factory, France, about 1775.
Oval, lobed tureen with angular handles, the cover with apple branch finial and scalloped edges picked out in carmine, both parts painted in enamel colours with stylised birds on carmine rococo scrolls, and scattered flowers.
