Painted chest from Kalotaszeg
SERIES TITLE: Our ethnographic values
Presentation of two painted trousseau chests from Kalotaszeg, made by Cluj-Napoca-based carpenter Janos Umling in the second part of the 18th century. According to the writing on the two chests, the first was made in 1768, and the second in 1781.
