Eemshaven officially opened
Week number 73-25
The new Eemshaven in the north of Groningen has officially opened. The area is being prepared for the construction of businesses, including roads, sewers and the Eems power plant. The industry in Delfzijl has been given better opportunities thanks to the construction of a new entrance to the port. In the fishing village Termunterzijl a shrimp shelling competition is held for a silver shrimp.
