Flute in D, boxwood, ivory mounts. Six finger holes, four silver keys, round, deeply cupped, mounted in blocks. Movable cork stopper in wooden cap. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 52 cm. Stamped: Potter London. Sun mark and Patent mark on back of mouthpiece. Dated 1822 on right hand joints and 1823 on each of the other four joints.
