Offering thangka made of textile, wood and paint. Depicts Shakyamuni as Bodhisattva in sambhogakaya form with Shariputra and Maudgakyayanaputra. Extensive Tibetan inscription at bottom with rows of offerings: mandala offerings, eight auspicious signs, lights, etc. Block print on cotton.
The inscription tells us that this is work by a Chinese Buddhist monk named Liu Ha-shang resident at the temple…
