MEDIEVAL STRAP END
An incomplete copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The object comprises a rectangular panel from which an integral forked spacer extends to one side. Two iron rivets remain within the panel. Both forks terminate in worn breaks and the object is undecorated. The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The strap end is 28.2mm long, 15.9mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 3.2g.
