MEDIEVAL SPUR
A cast copper alloy probable spur attachment hook with a rounded lozenge shaped bosy and hooks projecting from each end, curling in opposite directions. This S shape suggests that it was probably used as a hook attachment for spur leathers. There is no evidence of any rivets so it could not have been used as a mount, though it could also be an extremely distorted finger ring.One hook is apparently…
