ROMAN PLUMB BOB
A crudely cast, lead artefact of unknown date, probably a weight or a plumb-bob. There is a thick body, oval in section and rounded at the bottom. At the top the artefact is flattened and there is a narrower, circular section rising from the centre of this flat surface, giving the whole artefact the appearance of a bottle with a rounded base.
