IRON AGE FASTENING
A cast, copper alloy button and loop fastener of Late Iron Age or Roman date, 100BC-AD100. It has a trefoil-shaped head with settings for enamel or coral, all of which are now empty. The back loop would have been triangular but is now broken. It is 35.4mm long, 24.7mm wide and 12.6mm thick. It weighs 10.1gm.
