NEOLITHIC BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD
A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of late Neolithic or early Bronze Age date, about 2400 BC - 1000 BC. It is formed on golden brown flint with speckles of patina. It is triangular in plan and both barbs have snapped off and are missing. It has covering, scaled, low-angle retouch on both faces. The tang is complete and square. The arrowhead is 42.4mm long, 30.2mm wide and 10.1mm thick. 4.27g.
