POST MEDIEVAL THIMBLE
A Post-Medieval copper alloy thimble with maker's mark dating from about the early 16th Century. The thimble has sloping sides and a slightly domed top. The motif is a series of sub oval punched dots, hand stamped in a continuous spiral from the top to the rim with no bare tonsure.
