MESOLITHIC KNIFE
A flint knife which dates from the Late Mesolithic or early Neolithic period. The knife is formed on a tertiary blade which is 40.1mm long, 22.9mm wide and 5.4mm thick. The flake has a hinged termination and is retouched along the right edge, but worked from the ventral face. The retouch is abrupt. The flint is dark grey and has few inclusions.
