POST MEDIEVAL CHISEL
An iron tool which may be a chisel or pick. It has a head which is circular in section but the top is not flattened as would be expected from hammer blows. The end may be an ancient break. There are shoulders below the head where the tool changes to a rectangular section and starts to taper to a wide point. This end is also irregular and looks likely to be an old break.
