POST MEDIEVAL STRAP FITTING
A copper alloy S-shaped belt fastener dating from the post medieval period. It is decorated with a pattern of small scales on both faces and has a light green patina. There is a ferrous concretion blocking one loop of the S, suggesting that it has been in close proximity to an iron object, probably an attachment loop.
