POST MEDIEVAL AMMUNITION
A lead alloy musket ball. The ball is spherical and has a diameter of 17.4mm and weighs 27.87g. There is no casting spur or distortion, resulting from impact or gun barrel insertion. It has a light grey hue with patchy cream and brown patina. The musket was invented in the early sixteenth century, so musket balls are post-medieval in date.
