MEDIEVAL STRAP FITTING
A copper alloy strap fitting probably related to annular disc-on-pin buckles, probably dating from AD 1200 - 1500. Tom Redmayne suggests that it may be a strap slide. It has an oval annular frame of sub-rectangular cross-section.
