ROMAN COIN
A Roman silver denarius of Trajan (98-117AD), probably of Rome mint. The obverse depicts a laureate bust of the emperor, facing right; the reverse shows Aequitas standing, facing left, holding a cornucopia and scales. It is 19.3mm in diameter and 2mm thick. It weighs 2.28gm. For reference see Sear, Roman Coins and Their Values, Volume 2, number 3122.
