POST MEDIEVAL CLOTH SEAL
A Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal. It consists of two discs, one smaller and one bigger. The two discs are fused together with the remains of the connecting strip attached to them. The smaller disc has a design of an anchor enclosed in a ring with 'LEEDS' stamped in relief under it. There is further, mainly illegible writing above the anchor, possibly "S[W]ANN D (...NR...)".
