MEDIEVAL AMPULLA
A large fragment (approximately two thirds) of a lead-alloy pilgrim’s ampulla, possibly of the late 15th or early 16th century. One side is decorated with a scallop shell design, the other side is plain. It has a narrow neck and the suspension loops, which were probably higher up the neck, are missing, as is the top of the neck itself.
