MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle plate dating to c. 1250-1400. The sheet plate is wider than it is long and has been folded over, with the back plate smaller than the front plate. It is recessed at the frame end to accommodate the frame and has a notched removal to accommodate the pin - both the frame and pin are missing - and one corner of the front plate has been bent back.
