MEDIEVAL STRAP END
An incomplete copper alloy Medieval strap end dating from c. 1250-1450. The strap end is of composite type, being formed of two sheets with a forked spacer in between them. It has a biconcave attachment end and tapers slightly to a pointed terminal with a small pointed knop. There is one intact copper alloy rivet located at the attachment end between the indentations.
