POST MEDIEVAL COIN
A silver post medieval coin; a sixpence of Elizabeth I (1558 – 1603), second issue (1561 – 1582), dated 1573. It has the ermine mintmark. The coin has a diameter of 23.3mm and is 0.6mm thick. It weighs 2.06g. It is in fair condition, but the bust is very worn. For reference see North number 1997.
