ROMAN BROOCH
An incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating from about 75-175 AD. The brooch has a plain trumpet head and a slender bow. The bow of the brooch is decorated with a moulded acanthus button in the centre, flanked by a collar above and below; all continuing right round the bow.
