POST MEDIEVAL ROWEL SPUR
A fragment of a Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy rowel spur. The majority of the sides are missing and the iron rowel is also missing. There is no crest. The small portions of the sides are roughly 'D'-shaped in cross-section, convex on the outer face and very slightly convex on the inner face. It has a short neck which is oval in cross-section.
