ROMAN VESSEL
A rim from a Roman ceramic vessel, a narrow necked bottle, flagon or flask. The rim is almost complete and is 52mm in diameter. It has probably seven corrugations or curved indentations in the side of the rim, of which two survive undamaged. The rim forms and flange with a flat top.
