MEDIEVAL SEAL MATRIX
A large fragment of a medieval, lead alloy, vesica-shaped seal matrix c. 1150-1300. The face of the matrix shows a simple device of a longitudinal line divided into four equal parts by three transverse lines. All the lines have splayed ends in the manner of a cross pattee.
