EARLY MEDIEVAL UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT
Cast copper alloy fragment consisting of a plain rectangular plate 23.4 x 12.1mm x 2.0mm thick. On one face of this is a longitudinal rib giving a T shaped section, in the centre of this is a 6.8mm wide curved recess. The object is either complete or was damaged long ago.
