POST MEDIEVAL SEAL
A Post Medieval cast lead alloy bag or bale seal dating from AD1600 - AD1800. The seal is circular and flat. It is formed of a single disc which is perforated across its diameter. On both edges this creates a sub rectangular apperture but on one a strip of lead runs down the centre creating two holes.
