MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
A fragment of a Medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle dating from AD1250 - AD1400. The buckle is oval with an integral plate. The plate is 13.53mm in length, 18.56mm in width and has a transverse break running parallel to the loop. There is a centrally located circular hole drilled into the plate along the edge of the loop.
