POST MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
Incomplete, cast copper alloy, early post medieval buckle. The buckle takes the form of a double oval frame, which is semi circular in section. One oval of the frame is split. It is plain, without a notched or moulded pin rest. The pin is missing.It is 23.52mm long, 20.08mm wide and weighs 2.60g. A similar example can be found in Margeson, 1993, page 30, number 164.
