POST MEDIEVAL MOUNT
Post medieval copper alloy mount, probably a decorative backplate to a furniture handle. The mount is in the form of a flower, comprised of six sub-triangular petals, with smaller triangular petals in-between. The centre is domed, from the remains of a rivet, and is surrounded by a further six, small sub-triangular petals. The reverse is plain and undecorated, and has a broken rivet at the centre.…
