MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
An incomplete Medieval/Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle, dating to c.1350-1650. The buckle is a double loop oval buckle with narrowed strap bar. Around the central area of one of the loops and strap bar is iron corrosion, probably the remains of an iron pin. It has a mid green patina and is worn. The buckle measures 18.26mm in length, 22.48mm in width and 2.51mm thick. It weighs 3.11g.
