ROMAN BROOCH
A fragment of a Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch, possibly from a Colchester dervitative type. The fragment comprises of the lower bow, foot and open catchplate of the brooch. Three grooves mark the terminal of the foot which then extends back to the catchplate with its catch still intacted.
