ROMAN BROOCH
Incomplete early Roman cast copper alloy Colchester two-piece derivative brooch. Only the head and upper part of the bow survives. The wings are rectangular in plan and are curved, almost 'C' shaped, in profile. The brooch is heavily corroded, however some vertical lines of decoration are just visible on the wings.
