ROMAN LOCK
Roman cast copper alloy lock-pin with bell-shaped head. The head is cylindrical with two raised collars around its circumference and a sub-circular knop at its apex. The shaft is rectangular in section and in plan, with a worn break across what apears to have been a circular opening.
