MEDIEVAL COIN
Medieval silver coin. A patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, Flanders and Brabant. Minted in Bruges, AD 1467-74. These were legal tender in England from circa AD 1469-1530 and were the equivalent to a groat.Other examples on the database are from Hampshire (SUR-71B7C6) and Shropshire (CPAT-DFDDC7)
